Why We Help

The purpose of the Hearts of Hope Scholarship is to help young homicide survivors rebuild their lives shattered by violence. We continue Peyton’s legacy of reaching out to help others who need help to reclaim their lives and to provide HOPE in the face of life’s greatest adversity: losing family to a senseless act of violence. Our goal is to award as many scholarships as financially possible to help survivors rebuild their lives and achieve their dreams. To quote Peyton’s world view “We should leave the world a better place.”

A Dedication to Peyton
Hearts of Hope Scholarships provide support

Families are emotionally, psychologically, physically and financially shattered by homicide. Hearts of Hope provides a small way to acknowledge the devastation and connect young survivors who have lost their family. Consider the loss of a child to violence in your family and the impact on your ability to function. Families are left paralyzed. The scholarships offer compassion and hope for the children left behind.
